Compaq's iPaq desktop of 2000 dropped the serial, parallel and PS/2 connectors for USB alone, in a small vertical case aimed at corporate deployments and thin-client use.

Background
The desktop iPaq belongs to Compaq’s turn-of-the-century thin-client line, distinct from the handheld iPAQ brand that later eclipsed it. Here it is shown at work with its display, keyboard, and mouse: a compact office endpoint built for centrally managed computing.
